Our story

Lakeside Community Church was organized in 1991 and is part of the Nazarene denomination. Lakeside Community Church is a Christ-led church where every aspect of church life and function is done in prayer, where Scripture is faithfully taught, and where discipleship and evangelism demonstrate the power of the gospel to change people’s lives. As brothers and sisters in Christ, we are to model Jesus, as shown in Hebrews 10:19.
Rev. Robert and Dr. Holly (Irwin) Churchman, Co-Senior Pastor at Lakeside Community Church. Installed in 2023, The Churchman’s are the sixth pastor(s) since the establishment of the church in 1991. Both pastors love being in the country, and the sense of community Lakeside provides.
